So its Tuesday night, and you need something to do with your girl, or your guy, or your friends tonight.
I highly suggest you rent the movie Gone Baby Gone. I saw this movie in theaters and I have become a zealot trying to get everyone i know and love to see it. It is a thriller that is also a thinker. When Meg and I saw it in theaters we talked about it the rest of the night and continued to spar over it for at least 2 more weeks. The movie presents a….can you say, “moral ambiguity” that is undeniable.
I guarantee that this movie is a piece of art that will leave you thinking and thinking some more.

Hey Man. I totally agree with your comments on Gone, Baby, Gone. It sent my friends and I into the same jungle of conversation. Directed and Written by Ben Affleck, how bout that? Great job on his part. I will make a suggestion to you. Have you seen Lars and the Real Girl yet? One of my top 5 fav films for 2007. I highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy films that not only inspire questions and conversation, but laughter and tears. This movie was depressing…very depressing. It was a good movie, but at the same time I will probably never watch it again. It’s to real, I’m not going to go to much into it so I don’t ruin it for others, but I sometimes have a hard time liking movies like this. It was hard to watch, it was a good movie, but I didn’t like it.
In my opinion as to the encouragement to watch it. just know it is not a movie to rent if you are looking for something you are truly going to enjoy or get entertainment out of. It is sad and it’s a very real movie, so just remember that when you go to rent it.
This movie was amazing. It was a thriller like no other, and I couldn’t wait for it to come out on DVD so I could watch it again. The story is unbelievable and the acting is terrific. I have tried myself to get many people to watch it.
I thought you may want to know, this movie is based on a book. The same guy that wrote this book wrote Mystic River. If you haven’t seen Mystic River, you need to!
